Thanks for the response!

I greatly appreciated hearing from those that commented on the blog after the last couple of posts. It definitely gave me motivation to keep updating as often as possible.

Time keeps rolling, James is almost ready to start crawling, so we are savoring this time before it is "ready, set, go!" We can tell he will be an active child once he figures out how to get his legs and arms under him.

It was tough to choose from the pumpkin patch photos, since we got a lot that were great. Mary's "Mommy and Me" class met at a local church's pumpkin patch, so we seized the opportunity to get some good photos. I uploaded just a sampling.

We're moving in less than three weeks. It is hard to believe that the Greensboro phase of our lives is coming to a close, but it is a lot easier knowing that we will be setting out on this new phase together. So, it'll be "home" as long as family is there.

Come to think of it... I'm ready to go now.

I could stay here all week

This is fun

We look good together

What do you mean this one is more my size?

I want this one!

Thanks, Mom, for taking me to the pumpkin patch!

We have a home

After four days of tough negotiations, we signed a contract to purchase a home in Laurinburg earlier today. This is a bit scary for us, since we are moving out of our newly married, starter home and moving into a big boy/big girl home. To be honest, it is a bit more than we were originally looking for, but it is a gorgeous home in an ideal neighborhood in L'burg. With four bedrooms and four baths, there is plenty of room for us to grow into this house. One slight irony is that it is just two doors down from my boss's home. So, after four years of being in completely separate cities from my boss, we are now going to be neighbors!

For those that might be interested, I've posted photos of the home on my yahoo photo page. The furniture is not ours, but you should get the idea. If you are interested, feel free to check it out at: photos.yahoo.com/jeffdkerrigan

Thanks to those that have sent me notes letting me know that this blog is actually being read from time to time. I will try to pick up the frequency of posts.
